By Sanniah Hassan I see life unfold before my eyes, From the vantage that gives me an edge. People come and go each day, With the promise of something new. From where I sit, ready to soar into the sky, I see the people move about – and yet it all seems futile. I can see through the façade they attempt to maintain. Oh, poor, miserable creatures these humans. Are they truly unaware of this transparency? Or boastful of artificiality? From where I perch on the rooftop, All I can do is Pity the humans.
