A Farewell Note - TSE Original

© The Sanniah Experience! (TSE)  By Fatima Zubair  Writer of  A Child of the New  Millennium To silent sunsets To peaceful beaches To seagulls twittering To a sky in blue When the day draws to an end When every soul falls back To its quiet abode When all that was abound In joy, fun and mirth Finds a place in eternity Oneness with the one Nature all wrapped In a seashell. That finds a place later In a corner of our living room When a child hobbles along And picks up the seashell To announce How it traps the sound of the sea The gush of the waves The waters receding The seabed heaving The sea shell encapsulates A farewell note To the silent sunsets To peaceful beaches To seagulls twittering To a sky in blue To affiliations and felicitations To love and love lost To a bond that abides To a sea that confides. Noor Mukadam Case: Battling 'Desensitization' created by Negative elements & Media Portraiture

©The Sanniah Experience! (TSE) By Sanniah Hassan  In a shocking and heartbreaking turn of events, media reports confirmed the brutal killing of twenty-seven-year-old Noor Mukadam, daughter of former Ambassador Mr. Shaukat Mukadam on the 20th of July last year.  Based on initial reports, the young woman was brutally 'beheaded' after being sexually abused by someone considered to be a friend. An investigation into the case by the Islamabad police led to a confessional by the cold-blooded murderer, the son of an influential business tycoon, Zahir Jaffer.  The news sent shockwaves across the country with many questioning how such an incident was possible. The vibrant young woman's life had been cut short by this monster who pledged that he was a lover 'scorned'.  After being taken into police custody Jaffer and his family knit tales of woe claiming he had proposed marriage and she had rejected, so in a moment of deep self-pity he had resorted to killing her. In doing so...

By Fatima Zubair Writer of  The Child of a New Millenium 'Have you heard the sound, Of a warning alarm, Screeching through  A deafening Calm? Have you seen a struggle, To collect, Recollect A household, Uninformed? A broken glass, One silent blast. Only the dregs of concrete, Last. Have you heard the cries, A screaming In the vault? Have you seen a city, Painted in mahogany? Of Homeless tags, In Nameless rags! If you haven't seen humanity, Such a humanity, An entire generation wiped, Then look again! It's in Gaza, That Gaza couldn't survive. Gaza couldn't survive!' You can connect with us at thesanniahexperience@gmail.com or contact us via:

Let's Talk about Mental Health & Why is it Important?

©The Sanniah Experience! (TSE) Why talking about mental health is important?  Well, for one, brushing uncomfortable truths under the rug help no one, and two, stable mental health like physical well-being is extremely important for healthy living. We have often heard the saying: Live and Let Live! yet, very few understand this and implement it in their day-to-day lives. So today, let's talk about the how's and the why's of the situation.  You see, when people offer unsolicited advice in the form of options and anecdotes (mostly unnecessarily), it almost always contributes to putting down those in need of help or motivation. So instead of offering our 'helpful suggestions' why not lend a 'listening-ear'?  Allow them the opportunity and safe space and let them express what they may be going through, what they may be troubled by, and perhaps along the way guide them towards a potent solution to their problem! Most examples where a person may be suffering from m...
