To silent sunsets
To peaceful beaches
To seagulls twittering
To a sky in blue
When the day draws to an end
When every soul falls back
To its quiet abode
When all that was abound
In joy, fun and mirth
Finds a place in eternity
Oneness with the one
Nature all wrapped
In a seashell.
That finds a place later
In a corner of our living room
When a child hobbles along
And picks up the seashell
To announce
How it traps the sound of the sea
The gush of the waves
The waters receding
The seabed heaving
The sea shell encapsulates
A farewell note
To the silent sunsets
To peaceful beaches
To seagulls twittering
To a sky in blue
To affiliations
and felicitations
To love and love lost
To a bond that abides
To a sea that confides.
