By Fatima Zubair
Writer of The Child of a New Millenium
'Have you heard the sound,
Of a warning alarm,
Screeching through
A deafening
Calm?
Have you seen a struggle,
To collect,
Recollect
A household,
Uninformed?
A broken glass,
One silent blast.
Only the dregs
of concrete,
Last.
Have you heard the cries,
A screaming In the vault?
Have you seen a city,
Painted in mahogany?
Of Homeless tags,
In Nameless rags!
If you haven't seen humanity,
Such a humanity,
An entire generation
wiped,
Then look again!
It's in Gaza,
That Gaza couldn't survive.
Gaza couldn't survive!'
