On this day, the people of Pakistan commemorate the commitment of the Muslims of the Sub-continent - to achieve a separate homeland - on the basis of the Two-Nation Theory. It is a celebration of the historical perseverance and efforts of our ancestors who gave their all towards this cause of Freedom and Independence. It is also a day to honor the state's first Constitution of 1956 and the journey of becoming the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.  On the occasion of 23rd March 2022, team TSE! An investigation into the case by the Islamabad police led to a confessional by the cold-blooded murderer, the son of an influential business tycoon, Zahir Jaffer.  The news sent shockwaves across the country with many questioning how such an incident was possible. The vibrant young woman's life had been cut short by this monster who pledged that he was a lover 'scorned'.  After being taken into police custody Jaffer and his family knit tales of woe claiming he had proposed marriage and she had rejected, so in a moment of deep self-pity he had resorted to killing her.   #TSEDramaReview! Spoiler alert!   So let's talk about Ishqiya, a Pakistani drama that aired its concluding (double-episode) episode on the 10th of August, 2020. Although we had doubts about it in the beginning, the last episode was really well presented. From going full-circle in addressing all that needed to be highlighted, the ending was truly satisfying. Firstly. Hamza & Hamna though both deserving of the dangerous repercussions accepted their follies and mistakes yet, there was one thing that set them apart. Having gone through the sequence of events Hamna finally learnt that she will have to be patient in working towards redemption while Hamza stayed stuck in the 'fight for love' dilemma. So, 2020 is really turning out to be the worst year ever. Considering the global community is tackling a pandemic, while individual countries are facing multiple issues associated with the pandemic and otherwise. As the black community tries to regain its collective and individual power from the #WhiteMan, across United States, we are reminded of the beauty behind Islam which advocates that no man is superior to another on the basis of colour, and that killing all of humanity.
