Yeah so, I am one of those types of people now. The ones who think they are uber intellectual because they can understand quotes... not to toot my own horn but, I am actually not as 'intellectual' as I would otherwise convince myself. This is why I have decided to share a quote of the day. I feel this would help me revive my painfully-dying love of reading and hopefully even writing.

So, without further a do!

G. B. Shaw is perhaps one of the greatest playwrights to ever exist. He has that attitude of telling it like it is. He doesn't beat around the bush and play nice, rather he swiftly and quickly rips off the band-aid. Of course, that means the truth stings [maybe even a lot] but hey, at least the job gets done... and that's the only thing that matters at the end of the day.

'Ishqiya': Disappointing or Revolutionary?

#TSEDramaReview! Spoiler alert! So let's talk about Ishqiya, a Pakistani drama that aired its concluding (double-episode) episode on the 10th of August, 2020. Although we had doubts about it in the beginning, the last episode was really well presented. From going full-circle in addressing all that needed to be highlighted, the ending was truly satisfying. Firstly. Hamza & Hamna though both deserving of the dangerous repercussions accepted their follies and mistakes yet, there was one thing that set them apart. Having gone through the sequence of events Hamna finally learnt that she will have to be patient in working towards redemption while Hamza stayed stuck in the 'fight for love' dilemma.
