* To make Pulao instead of Biryani, just add yakhni/chicken stock [4 cups] instead of water and biryani.
Serving Size: Roughly serves about 4-6 people.
Method:
1. Fry the sliced onions till they are golden-brown, then add the peas and cubed potatoes. Cook for 5 minutes on low heat before adding water.
2. Cover and cook till potatoes look cooked and peas change colour.
3. Add biryani masala, chicken cubes, and tomatoes. Cook till chicken turns colour.
4. Now add water and rice. Cook till rice grows to twice its size and water dries up. Then steam cook for 10 minutes.
5. Serve fresh.
* Optional: You can serve with a choice of garnish toppings: fried onion, and chopped coriander.
* You can serve with raita and kachumar salad and/or choice of gravy.
